About Us

           Gary Visser, owner of CNS Solutions, has been in the computer business in the Wenatchee Valley for over 28 years. That is longer than any other computer business! Gary and his wife, Linda, moved to Wenatchee from the Seattle area in 1981 with the idea of opening a computer business. His desire to move to small-town Wenatchee stemmed from wanting to raise his children in a family friendly community.

             In 1981, Gary opened Computer Systems Marketing, Incorporated located on Wenatchee Avenue. CSM, Inc sold computers to the general public; that was a very new idea then. After 7 years, Gary decided that the computer industry was changing, and he wanted to change with it. He moved his business to his home and changed his company’s specialty to computers and software. Gary made a lot of “house calls” to homes and businesses needing on site computer repair. Gary renamed his business Software Solutions to reflect the change.

             After a few years of specializing in software, Gary decided there was one more change that he foresaw in the computer industry: the evolution of computer networks. In 1996, Software Solutions became CNS Solutions: Computers, Networking, & Software . This new name encompassed all that Gary wanted potential customers to see in his computer business. From 1981 to 2009, this year marks our 28th anniversary!
